SAMANTHA GRAY
Head Coach
Samantha ("Sam") has been coaching cheer at Mead High School for six seasons and is proud to call MHS her home. As an alum and the school’s very first varsity cheer captain, she has a deep connection to the program and its traditions.
After graduating from Mead High School, Samantha continued her education at the University of Northern Colorado, earning a bachelor's degree in Journalism. She now works as a Digital Marketing Manager and is thrilled to return to MHS, where she can help athletes grow, build lifelong friendships, get involved, and strive for athletic excellence.
With her passion for cheerleading and commitment to fostering teamwork, Samantha is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of MHS athletes.
Kim Wagner
ASSISTANT COACH
Kim Wagner lives in Fort Lupton with her family on a small farm. She has two kids who attend Mead High School. Kim cheered at Edison Community College before she moved to Orlando to earn her B.S. Degree in Business Administration. Kim has a huge heart for cheer and spirit clubs. Kim twirled baton all 4 year of high school and was the team captain. Kim moved to Colorado in 2012. She coached an elementary cheer team while she attended the University of Northern Colorado. She earned her Masters degree in Special Education and currently teaches middle school at LaunchEd Virtual Academy in our district. Kim loves coaching the cheer team at Mead High. She is so proud of all the hard work and dedication the team has shown.
